We have been offering structured Weekend outdoor classes at Cubbon Park, Bangalore for 13 years!
The aim is to draw and paint from nature and learn the 3d shapes around us. This course operates on a batch-wise system and we offer batch openings at regular intervals.
These courses are good for beginners & intermediates who are looking to improve their realistic art skills.

Major Mediums Included
Watercolor Painting
Watercolor painting is a technique where pigments are suspended in a water-based solution. The result is a transparent and luminous artwork characterized by its fluidity and blending effects.
Watercolour Painting is believed to be the toughest medium. We believe with consistent practice and understanding of the techniques you can master them. Focusing on various strokes using brush washes like wet on wet, dry on wet, color mixing, blending, layering, dry brush technique, and understanding the realistic and abstract subjects.
Color Pencils
In coloured pencils, the strokes and blending play a crucial role. For this, we'll be using A5-size sketchbooks and will be working on understanding the backgrounds, and the concept of light and shadow, referring to various subjects and will thus, work on creating realistic artwork.
Pencil Shading
In sketching, we'll be learning fundamental techniques like strokes, free-hand drawings, angles, light and shadow, and various shading techniques like hatching, and stippling. Once you understand the fundamentals then it's easier to work with different mediums.
Oil Pastels
We offer a deep dive into various pastel techniques like blending, layering, colour mixing, detailing, textures, light and shadow, and composition referring to various subjects to create exquisite artworks.
Acrylic Painting
Acrylic painting is a fast-drying medium with vibrant hues. We will be learning strokes using different brushes, creating various backgrounds, colour mixing, blending, layering, and understanding realistic and abstract subjects like flowers, fruits, trees, birds, landscapes and portraits.
Charcoal
Using Charcoal can be an immersive experience because of its depth and intensity. We will be learning various shading techniques, value scales, and creation of textures. We will be using soft and hard charcoal to create different effects as they have very distinct qualities.
Soft Pastels
Soft Pastels are just like chalk pieces but more pigmented, so colour mixing and blending is very essential, without which the colours might turn out to be muddy. Each week we'll be focusing on different techniques and subjects.
Sculpturing (Upcoming)
Sculpting and hand building include various forming techniques like moulding, pinching, coiling, slab building, and texturing. Then we'll understand the principles of strong and balanced structures and finishing of the surface.

Who can take up these courses?
If you are above 15, and ready to spend a dedicated time e.g. 30 minutes per day, it will greatly improve your drawing & painting skills.
In Short, you can be a beginner or intermediate, our courses fit each as they are designed to treat and enhance individually.
Do i get personal attention?
We limit the size of each batch or fine arts course batch. Each batch only holds 8 students. This allows our teachers to work closely with each student and provide guidance individually. Each student will be focusing on subjects that are suitable for their skill level and interests.
What if I miss a class?
We may compensate 1-2 session in your term.
Do I get refunds?
As per our institutional policy, we don’t allow the refund. If you have paid the fees and will not be able to attend the classes, you can take a break by sending the mail to us. Read more on the refund policy here.
