Two levels! There is much to learn and explore.

Junior Pencil And Chai’s certified programs are designed to build a strong foundation in art.
Level 1: A 12-month long training with the most relevant medium which is required to build a strong foundation in art.
Level 2: Another 12-month long training with much-fine-tuned art and working on presentation skills.
Diploma in Fine Arts will be honored only for those completing two levels along with fulfilled course guidelines.
If you are completing one level then it will be considered Certification in Art Foundation.
Students can not take up Level 2 without completing Level 1.

Structured Syllabus

A distinctive and well-organized curriculum, delving into the domains of freehand drawings, elements, nature, inanimate life, perspectives, manmade subjects, landscapes, and head studies.

Assignments

The junior diploma program requires not only completing class work but also submitting six finished artworks on a monthly basis.

Detail Reviews

After every eight classes, review tests will assess your performance, providing detailed feedback on your progress and areas for improvement.

Live Demonstrations

In each class, the instructor will perform a live demonstration, elucidating the techniques and intricacies of the day's artwork to ensure a comprehensive understanding for the children.

Exams

Final exams are scheduled after both the first and second terms. Only individuals with the necessary attendance and those who have submitted their assignments on time are eligible to participate in the exams.

Certification

The qualification criteria for obtaining a diploma in fine arts will be determined through the evaluation of submission of assignments, attendance, and performance in final exams.

Major Mediums Included

Watercolor Painting
Watercolor painting is a technique where pigments are suspended in a water-based solution. The result is a transparent and luminous artwork characterized by its fluidity and blending effects.
Color Pencils
Color pencils, also known as colored pencils, are art tools with a core of colored pigment encased in a wooden barrel. By layering and blending technique, one can create realistic artwork.
Pencil Shading
Pencil shading is a technique used to create variations in light and shadow in a drawing, giving it depth and dimension
Oil Pastels
Oil pastels, composed of non-drying oil and pigment, boast vibrant colors and a smooth texture. Unlike chalk pastels, they don't need fixatives and are versatile across various surfaces.
Acrylic Painting
Acrylic paint is a fast-drying paint made of pigment suspended in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paint can be diluted with water when wet and becomes water-resistant when dry.
Charcoal
Charcoal is made from burnt wood and comes in various forms, including vine charcoal, compressed charcoal, and charcoal pencils. Each type has its own characteristics and is suitable for different drawing techniques.
Soft Pastels
Soft pastels are sticks of pure pigment combined with minimal binder, creating a powdery and easily blendable medium. They come in a wide range of colors and are often used for creating expressive and colorful drawings.
Sculpturing
Clay sculpting is a form of art that involves manipulating and shaping clay to create three-dimensional objects or sculptures. It's a versatile and enjoyable medium that allows for both simple and intricate creations.

Children between the ages of 12 and 15, who have successfully completed one year of the Junior Foundation in the art program

Can i directly join my child to Level 2?

No, It’s not allowed to join Level 2 without completing Level 1.
