Why Professional Course in Bengal Pattachitra?
Why do you need to choose it?
Patas or scroll painting is one of the earliest art forms in Bengal, referred to in Brahmabaivartha Purana. Patuas, according to the text, were the descendants of the supreme artist Lord Viswakarma and his wife Ghritachi. An art form with such rich legacy and myth thus, deserves to be known by the larger world. With this intention, we have crafted the Bengal Pattachitra course - to preserve the art form for the future generations.
